We live in northern Illinois and have four adult children; two daughters and two sons. We also have two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, one granddaughter and two grandsons. Our children live in Illinois, Colorado, Tennessee, and Japan. We purchased the Playful Pelican with the dream of someday spending some time, during the winter months, in Gulf Shores when we retire. The sea, the sand, and the sun are the perfect recipe for an Alabama Gulf Coast lifestyle. Lie on the beach, watch a stunning sunrise, or take a dip in the warm Gulf waters. It’s up to you how you spend your time. Over the years, we have vacationed at many resort style beach communities, but have not found a beach and community as nice as Gulf Shores.
